I am so excited! My chair is screeching for me to please stop jumping up and down :D
Before I show you the cover, I need to go back to last week’s post. In my euphoria of getting feedback from my copy editor, I jumped the gun a little. I will not be able to release the book on December 1st.
My copy editor did a great job! She went far beyond what I paid her for and came with several suggestions. All of them good, and all of them demanding my fullest attention. I need to focus on the feedback, and for that, I need more time.
In November I am clearing my schedule to work on Elliot’s Angels, my Norwegian novel, and I don’t have time, nor capacity to work on both.
The last episode of season two will be released on December 4, and the new release date for book one will be December 18. Just in time for Christmas :D
The Cover
Alrighty then! Let’s get to it. I knew from the start who I wanted to make my illustration, and I still remember the feeling when I sent him an e-mail, thinking he would probably cost way more than my humble budget would allow.
When he came back with an offer I couldn’t resist I was excited. But not nearly as excited as when he delivered the illustration. It’s a scene from the first episode, a dog named Frode, and he caught the moment perfectly.
For the cover design, I had to go through a couple of designers before I met one that understood my needs. She gave me six(!) different concepts to choose from.
So without further adieu.

I hope you are as excited as me. I can’t wait to see it live in the Kindle store before Christmas.
I would be forever thankful if you share with friends and family you think would enjoy reading Viking P.I.
See you next friday for the first episode of season two!
And if you haven’t subscribed to my newsletter (it’s completely free), please do. You will be the first to receive news about Viking P.I. And you will get the episodes before anyone else; your feedback and engagement will function as my “test audience” before it gets released as books.
